Free Train Travel for groups and individuals
Are you a community group that might benefit from the freedom and convenience that train travel can bring?
Working with South Western Railway we are keen to make the railway accessible to all, especially helping individuals overcome barriers such as lack of confidence when travelling by train.
The Surrey Hills to South Downs Community Rail Partnership offer the opportunity to bring a group for a one off free promotional return trip on our local line. We can discuss where to go and who might like to travel.
We can offer individuals one to one support if they do not wish to travel in a group.
We will plan the trip for you and come along on the day to help you use the trains safely and confidently.
We work with Community Ambassadors from South Western Railway one of whom will be accompanying us on the journey.
